About Me

Hi, I’m Amelia, the founder of Mend & Move Injury Clinic.

I graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a First Class Honours degree in BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy. During my time at university, I developed a strong interest in helping people recover from injuries and improve their confidence in movement through assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. ,

Throughout my degree, I had the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working with Gloucester City AFC and Hucclecote Rugby Club. These placements allowed me to work closely with athletes, assisting with injury assessments, sports massage , pitch-side support, rehabilitation and helping players safely return to training and competition.

Sport has always been a huge part of my life. I currently play competitive netball, so I understand the importance of looking after your body and staying active. However, I also know that aches, pains and injuries aren’t just something that affects people who play sport.

That’s why I created Mend & Move Injury Clinic. My aim is to provide a friendly, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable accessing support for musculoskeletal injuries. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, struggling with everyday aches and pains, or simply want to move more freely, sports therapy can help. You don’t have to be sporty to benefit from sports therapy!

I believe every person is different, so I take the time to listen, understand your goals and create an approach that works for you. My aim is to help you feel confident, supported and informed throughout your recovery, so you can get back to doing the thing you enjoy!
